**FINAL WEEKEND**

Cleveland Public Theatre presents

IN A WORD<http://www.cptonline.org/performances/seasons/2014-2015/in-a-word/>
April 16 - May 2

Written by Lauren Yee :: Directed by Beth Wood

"Evocative...Fascinating...Outstanding...[Conway's] quiet, climactic scene with a Kit Kat bar is, given its context, perhaps the most trenchant human interaction with chocolate since Willy Wonka boffed the Swiss Miss on the Cocoa Cruiser ride at Hershey Park."

"The cast is flawless."
Broadway World<http://www.broadwayworld.com/cleveland/article/BWW-Reviews-Brilliant-IN-A-WORD-at-Cleveland-Public-Theatre-20150426>

"...a remarkably engaging and brilliantly orchestrated series of images. And it is surprisingly buoyant thanks to superb performers who have mastered the playwright's complex wordplay and found the dark humor in the deepest recesses of this intriguing work."
Cleveland Jewish News<http://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/columnists/there-are-not-enough-complements-to-capture-cpt-s-in/article_3ba954d6-e821-11e4-b4c1-9b68ab3b0177.html#.VTZE1UW9Q9w.email>

Meet Fiona, a mother who has suffered an unimaginable loss. It is the two-year anniversary of her seven-year-old son's disappearance and, still, nothing makes sense. Not her blasé husband, not the incompetent detective, nor the neighborhood kidnapper who keeps introducing himself in the checkout line. As she delves back into her memories of that fateful day in a search to find the missing piece, logic buckles and language breaks. At turns lyrical, poignant and absurd, Lauren Yee's breathtaking in a word chronicles Fiona's attempts to get over, around and through what haunts her-a journey where grief and comedy collide, and ordinary turns of phrase take on dangerous new meanings.
