About the Event:
Both Wandering Aesthetics, having reached 1,000 “LIKES”, and the Akronist, having reached 1,500 “LIKES” on Facebook, are LIKE-Minded about growing and strengthening our community. Throughout Akron, great things are happening, and they are happening because of the spirit of collaboration and unity that is woven into the fabric of the neighborhoods that make up our great city. We at The Akronist and Wandering Aesthetics are grateful to the people of Akron -- our family, friends, neighbors, and fans – whose community spirit continues to make our success possible.

You are invited to drop in, maybe for a quick “Hello,” or perhaps to stay awhile and enjoy light refreshments – including wine – and local performances:

Spooky Storytelling by Wandering Aesthetics’ Master Storyteller Kyle Jozsa
Improvisational Performance by Just Go With It Improv
Poetry from Brenda Cummins
Spoken-Word Performed by John Burton

Musical Performance by Raine

As Well as Other Surprises…

While Facebook “LIKES” are certainly a 21st century milestone, for Wandering Aesthetics and The Akronist what they represent is a community committed to embracing and building upon our diversity as well our connectedness in order to leave a lasting legacy for future generations. And that is something to celebrate.
