Col ClarenceJamison, the late SSG Thomas Austin, the late Cpl. James Travis, sharing theirWW II experiences.  Commemorative was compiled and written by local playwright VickieL. Williams who generally writes plays based on social interest and newsworthyissues.  During World War II there were overfifteen thousand Tuskegee Airmen who were part of a government experiment tosee if colored men were competent enough to fly.  That fifteen thousand included pilots,engineers, gunners, and many more technical and support service members.  Not only did the Tuskegee Airmen prove theywere competent, they had broken records during World War II that earned themthe Distinguished Service Medal and that paved the way to equality in theUnited States military.  Now, in 2015, thereare a few hundred of them surviving nationwide and only one of them inCleveland, Ohio.
