STORY LINE:
WHEN A SLAUGHTERHOUSE IS TRANSFORMED INTO MODERN LOFTS THE RESIDENTS ARE HELD IN TERROR BY THE BUILDING’S GRUESOME PAST.

Character Casting Breakdown

**RUPERT SCHECT (six years-old) Blond with hazel eyes. Mysterious and very serious. He’s frightened and confused with his apparent connection to the old Exeter slaughterhouse. The only person he befriends is Mia. 

**DEVIN CROSS (African American, late 40s) Former soldier. Athletic. Intelligent.  His father is a former employee of the old Exeter Meat Company and became missing. Devin has always been suspicious that the old building played a role in his father’s disappearance.  With the new Exeter Lofts, he finally has the opportunity to learn the truth first hand and is anxious to use his skills and experience in intelligence gathering to finally uncover the truth.  

**JACKSON DEVEROUX (Caucasian, late 20s, athletic) Professional hockey player. He’s just been traded to his hometown team.  He’s known as an enforcer on the ice, but has a weakness for being attracted to all the wrong women, which has left him a bit vulnerable. His fresh start as a new resident in the building is jeopardized when he meets Emily who lives one floor above. 

**BLAIN CORNISH (mid-60s) a pompous professorial-type. He is a longtime representative of the National Historical Society.  He’s an expert in old buildings, architecture, and related history.  He is particularly unnerved with the task of presenting national historical recognition to the Exeter Lofts – a building he despises, as it was once a slaughterhouse with a particularly dark history.

**SCOTT (20’s) Best friends with Jackson. Sports a hipster beard with matching specs. He serves as the only person who Jackson can trust. He takes his role as protector and confidant very seriously despite his fun-loving demeanor.  

**RACHEL (mid to 20's) Emily’s outgoing older sister and best friend who not only protects her baby sister but offers up some well needed advice. Appearing on Face time with her newborn baby.
