*The Cleveland Improv Comedy Jam*

*Now at Sachsenheim Hall – THURSDAYS! NO COVER!*


*Angry Ladies of Improv *improvisational comedy troupe has been
hosting the *Cleveland
Improv Jam* for four years, and now announces that the jam is in a new
space and on a new night! The Cleveland Improv Jam is moving to the
Sachsenheim Hall at 7001 Denison Avenue in Cleveland. Come play, drink, eat
and laugh with the ladies and the Cleveland improv community. The jam is
moving to *Thursday* night at 8:00 p.m.


*Angry Ladies of Improv* hosts this hilarious improv jam, open to those
with improv experience or anyone who has watched the jam for a while and
wants to play! 7:30 to sign up and play or 8:00 to watch! There is *NO
COVER*, and food and drinks are available in the fully stocked bar.
Typically there is a short-form set of improv games, followed by a longform
improv set. The jam wraps up by 10:00 p.m.


The Cleveland Scene's Elaine T. Cicora called *Angry Ladies of Improv* “fierce,
formidable and very funny.” They have hosted the *Cleveland Improv Jam* as
it moved through Lakewood locations of Bela Dubby, Sullivan's Pub and
Mahall's. Most recently the jam was hosted for several months at Guide to
Kultur bookstore in the Gordon Square District in Cleveland, assisted by
Crooked River Improv, which produces high-quality improv comedy with some
of the best teams in the Cleveland region.


James Catullo of Crooked River Improv notes, “The jam is a place for
improvisers of all skill levels, experience, and background to meet and
play together. It's the breeding ground for new ideas and teams to form and
grow. An active jam is the bedrock of a healthy improv scene.”


Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv *include: Dionne Atchison, Brenna “MC”
Connor, Tracy Cubbal, and Marjorie Preston. The troupe performs longform
improvisational comedy at the *Cleveland Improv Jam*. They have also
performed at CPT's Pandemonium, Big Dog Theater, and the Columbus
Unscripted festival. Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv* have studied
improvisational comedy professionally in Chicago, Detroit, New York City
and in the Northeast Ohio area, including Cleveland and Oberlin.


Tracy Cubbal is in Point of No Return Improv improvisational comedy troupe
and also teaches improv comedy classes. Marjorie Preston is an alumna of
Something Dada and Rockwell 9 improvisational comedy troupes. Dionne
Atchison is a theater artist with Cleveland Public Theatre. Brenna “MC”
Connor is an actress and improviser.
