*Talespinner Children's Theatre (TCT)*, located at 5209 Detroit Ave. in the
Gordon Square Arts District, has so many exciting things happening right
now!  Shows! Food!  Laughter!  Joy!  Imagination! Puppets and Masks! Come
out and join us for one, for all!  Let Your Imagination PLAY!!

*EAT FOR THE ARTS and support the arts for KIDS, Friday, June 5th!*
Friday, June 5, 2015 from 8:00am ‘til 9:00pm, *Latitude 41 N * (5712
Detroit Ave., in the Detroit Shoreway/Gordon Square neighborhood) and *TCT*
will be teaming up to support the arts for kids!!  Delicious breakfast,
lunch, snacks, dinner, pizza, beer, wine, dessert—you name it, they’ve got
it!  It’s so easy—stop by Latitude ANYTIME during hours of operation on the
5th for ANY meal, snack, or beverage, and a generous portion of your
purchase will go to help support programming for kids at TCT!!!  TCT is
grateful for the strong support of its amazing neighbor.  Incredible food,
great atmosphere, really nice people—Latitude has been a favorite of
actors, directors, designers, and families right from the day TCT opened
its doors.

SO, come on down on Friday, June 5th—bring your appetite, start your
weekend early, and help support TCT and the arts for kids!!  We’ll be
there…will you??

*THE SILENT PRINCESS (a Turkish Folktale), opening June 6th!*

TCT continues its 2015 mainstage season with a beautiful,  magical tale
from a far away and long ago land.  Using live action, puppets, music,
magic and more, THE SILENT PRINCESS (a Turkish Folktale) tells a story of
friendship and courage that reaches across time and place and into the
hearts of its audience. THE SILENT PRINCESS, adapted by Claire Robinson
May, opens Saturday, June 6th, and runs through Sunday, June 28th!

*The Padishah's son is sick with loneliness, despite his family's riches.
His dearest wish is to be best friends with the Silent Princess. But the
Silent Princess sees no reason to talk to anyone. She has sworn to befriend
only the person who can convince her to break her silence. With the help of
his magical mouse companion, can the Padishah's son persuade the Silent
Princess to speak - and be his friend?*

 *Performances*: June 6th through 28th

*Showtimes:* Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm & 7pm, Sundays at 2pm.

*Tickets:* $10 for children age 12 and under, $12 for seniors and students
with a College ID, $15 for ages 13 and up. *Group and Educational rates are
also available.* TCT will present* Pay What You Can* performances on Sunday,
June 7th at 2pm, and on Fridays, June 12th, June 19th, and June 26th.

*REGISTRATION STILL OPEN for SUMMER PUPPET AND MASK CAMP!*
TCT is still accepting registration for its Summer Puppet and Mask Camp, to
be held Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th at the Reinberger
Auditorium, 5209 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH, 44102.  Don't miss out on
this chance to give your young artist wings to fly!!

 *For five fun-filled days, young artists  learn how to make different
kinds of puppets and masks, work together to create scripts and stories for
them, and become creative puppeteers! The week culminates with a special
performance by the young artists for friends and family.  Give your
favorite young artist the gift that frees their creativity and helps them
find new ways of expression, problem-solving, teamwork and developing
self-confidence—all while having FUN!! Masks and puppets made are theirs to
keep!*

* Class Times:  *Monday, June 22nd through Thursday, June 25th – 8:30am to
3:30pm; Friday, June 26th - 8:30am to 12 noon.

* Kids (ages 6 – 10) and Early Teens (ages 11 – 14*) $200 (includes all
crafts supplies.) Ask about our “sibling discount!”
