ACTORS NEEDED!


 
For video production of PILOT EPISODE of original TV Sitcom,


  KELLY CONTRACTING

 
NYC-based screenwriter with Cleveland-based producers plan to present an original TV sitcom proposal to network television companies and wish to create a video of their pilot episode for their presentation.


 
The Series will celebrate ethnic, religious, racial and cultural differences in NYC as seen through the comedic conflicts of its diverse cast of characters. Acting experience NOT necessary!!


 
ROLES NEEDED TO BE FILLED:

Melissa/Mei Lin 
- (Series female lead) late 20’s Chinese-American girl; feisty, irreverent and sarcastic. She speaks fluent Mandarin so she can communicate with her elderly grandparents.


Melissa’s grandparents 
- very elderly. They only speak Mandarin. All their lines are shown with subtitled translations.


 
This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for COMEDIC CHARACTER ACTORS with STRONG ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS!


 
COMPENSATION:

1) “Nominal” (non-union) pay per evening.

2) Experience and performance exposure to Network Executives.

4) Opportunity to reprise role if Series is picked up for production.

5) Meals provided for scene production longer than 4 hours.
