Audition Reminder
“Without a Clue”
a killer new comedy written and directed
by Breianne Saylor
Audition date and times
8:00 pm on July 13th and 14th
Old Town Hall – 5186 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted
Auditions will consist of reading scenes from the script.
Plot Summary
Justin Tyme owns a small hotel that has its share of
problems. During a thunderstorm, the
maid, Lulu, discovers one of the guests staying at the hotel has been
murdered. Brooke, a girl with a broken
down car, arrives right before an inept detective. Pretty soon, all of the guests are brought
together to figure out the killer’s identity and survive the night. The problems double when Sally Lynch, a
building inspector, arrives to evaluate the condition of the hotel.
Character Descriptions
Justin Tyme – age 20s to 30s. Owner of the Falcon Inn. A bit
high strung.
Inspector Stumph – age 40s to 50s. A bumbling detective.
Howard - any age. A wise-cracking, lazy maintenance
man. Doubles as the dead body and is
carried around onstage.
Slash - 20s. A wannabe
British rock star with a horrible fake accent.
Mortimer - any age.
Indescribable. Wears a cape.
Brooke – age 20s to 30s. A smart girl in a bad situation.
Lulu – age 20s to 30s. The maid. Not the brightest crayon in
the box.
Tina – age 20s. Slash's
girlfriend. Somewhat neurotic. Has
fainting spells.
Sally Lynch - age 35+. A building inspector. Very stern and serious.
Performances are September 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20. No performance on Sept. 6 for holiday
weekend.
