BROADVIEWHEIGHTS HOME DAYS ON THE GREENHASLIVE ENTERTAINMENT ALL WEEKEND The City of Broadview Heights will host its annual “HOME DAYS ON THEGREEN” Thursday through Sunday, July 9-12, 2015 at the Broadview Center, 9543Broadview Road.  Admission and parkingare free, and there will be fireworks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10:00PM.  The event features live entertainment throughout the weekend as well asa nearby beer garden to relax and enjoy the music. The “Dan Zola Orchestra” andits big band sound will perform on Thursday from 7:00-10:00PM. On Friday, therock-n-roll band “Out of Order” will perform from 7:00-9:00PM, followed by the crowd-pleaser“Rock-n-Robots” from 9:00-10:00PM. Saturday’s entertainment line-up includes “Georgia and the Preachers”(country/pop/rock) from 5:00-6:30PM and the cover band “The Beams” from7:30-11:00PM. The “Drew Murray” magic show will take place Sunday from 4:00-5:00PM,followed by the “Academy Irish Dance Company” at 5:00PM. From 5:30-7:00 “Rock-OnDJ” Gary Perl will get the party rolling with several fun activities, includingthe popular pizza-eating contest.  “SteelWoody” closes the festival (7:00-11:00PM) with its classic contemporary sound. New this year is a Petting Zoo sponsored by Faulhaber Funeral Home. Itwill be open Saturday and Sunday from 3:00-6:00PM. There will also be kite-makingand flying activities, the police dog demonstration Saturday at 7:00PM, and theever-popular Pick-a-Prize Raffle and Silent Auction. Itwill be held in the Community Building on Friday and Saturday 6-11PM. Inaddition to open table games, there will be a Texas Hold’em Tournament at 7PMboth evenings.  Big O Amusements will providerides for all ages. Ride-all-Day wrist bands will be available for $20 per person.Single tickets are $1 each (rides require 3-4 tickets). In a foodcourt-type setting, 20 food vendors will be offering theirspecialties. The Broadview Heights firefighters are also sponsoring their annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morningduring the annual 5K and 1 Mile Walk/Run.
