Four free workshops will include discussions about skills critical to artists' application and proposal writing skill sets to support their efforts in applying for a Creative Workforce Fellowship<http://cultureforward.org/Our-Programs/Fellowship> and other future opportunities. The third workshop, taking place Wednesday, July 15th from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Happy Dog At The Euclid Tavern will feature attorney George Carr, who will provide an overview of fair use practices as related to grant applications and other potential work. This information will be particularly geared toward performing and media artists sampling or interpreting material from an original artist, but artists in all disciplines can apply the information. Every workshop will also include information about the application and review process for those interested in applying for a Creative Workforce Fellowship.
