[NEohioPAL] NEEDED: Band Director (Paid Gig)

Hello,

I am the Assistant Director of Brush High School's Soundsation Show Choir. We are currently in need of a band director for the upcoming competition season.




IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

• Experience with High School age students 
• BFA in Music 
(We WILL consider college students, and local musicians with proper credentials)
• Flexible Schedule 
• Piano Playing/Transposing ability (*Preferred but NOT required*)
• Interest in Growing with the Program


IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• Full Year Commitment (Immediate Start - Beginning of May. Calendar based on school year so holidays and breaks will be frequent.)
• Your ensemble of students will be small (Approximately 5-7 students)
• The time commitment will be 1 or 2 days a week (Start with one rehearsal a week. Will add an additional rehearsal as competition season approaches. Around November).
• Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, (Though schedule may be flexible for the right candidate) and either 2 OR 3 hours depending on group needs. These are evening rehearsals.
• Bi-annual stipend
