Wandering Aesthetics is proud to announce a second annual collaboration with the Highland Square Neighborhood Association. The storytelling theatre company will be conducting a series of four one-off workshops entitled “The Performer’s Tool Box” as part of the Porch Rokr Workshop Series.

About:

A collaborative partnership between The Highland Square Neighborhood Association Porch Rokr Festival and Wandering Aesthetics, it is a way for performers – of all experience levels – to enhance their onstage presence, work through stage fright, brush up on invaluable performances skills and practice in front of an audience. 

Each session is designed as a “one-off” workshop geared to nurture onstage success.

1)	Making Contact: Overcoming Stage Fright & Forming a Genuine Connection – AUGUST 1
2)	Do Not Be Dismissed: Presence and Energy in Performance – AUGUST 8
3)	Seen, but Not Heard: Voice for the Performer – AUGUST 15
4)	From Vamping to Banter: Improv for the Unexpected – AUGUST 22

*Participants are encouraged, but not required, to attend all four sessions.

Kyle Jozsa

About the Instructor:

Drawing on a work ethic derived from his path to Eagle Scout, Kyle Jozsa co-founded the physically oriented theatre company, Wandering Aesthetics. Kyle serves as Wandering Aesthetics’ Co-Artistic Director, Education Director and primary Storyteller. His responsibilities include: shaping the vision of the company, devising and performing new pieces of theatre and designing, implementing and teaching curricula. Kyle participated in an intensive summer training program at Double Edge Theatre in Asheville, MA. He recently made the transition to solo performer with Wandering Aesthetics’ “Mountain Cycle” – a series of 3 one-man performances about his hike of the 2,186-mile Appalachian Trail. Kyle has been teaching children ages 2 - 99 for the past 5 years; they constantly inspire him. One of the most significant influences throughout Kyle’s life journey has been his personal training and study of the actor’s craft.
