You can heed her advice Friday July 31 at Notre Dame College in South
Euclid, or in Tremont's Lincoln Park on Saturday and Sunday Aug 1-2 to kick
off their Arts In August programming.

All performances are provided FREE OF CHARGE, begin at 7pm, and have nearby
alternate performance spaces in the event of rain.

fast approaching this Sunday, August 2nd, from 11am-9pm! The Cleveland
Shakespeare Festival will be presenting a new round of the now-classic
"Open Mic Shakespeare" between the Shakespeare Gates and the Croatian
Gardens, at 1:00pm, 2:30pm, and 4:00pm. This "Open Mic" will have a
sparkling new theme to it: karaoke! Yes, that's right: we will have binders
with a selection of speeches and sonnets in them, ready for your perusal
and performance! Anyone can take to the stage and show us their chops: no
pressure, no judgement, no directing. Like everything CleveShakes, your
patronage and indulgence in the works of William Shakespeare is completely
free of charge. It is CSF's mission to culturally foster a love of
Shakespeare and dispel the myth that the Bard's work is only for the elite.
