Verb Ballets Returns to Tremont's Arts in August this Saturday

Free Outdoor Performance

Verb Ballets is honored to perform at Arts in August on Saturday, August 15, 2015 for their west side summer appearance. This free community dance performance will feature new repertory and audience favorites. Including the Cleveland World Premiere of newly commissioned ballet, Because This Must Be, by Lauren Edson, an emerging choreographer and former dancer with Trey McIntyre Project. Her work hailed in reviews as, "dance was one of finely constructed beauty and serenity, which was at times thrust into tension. Yet, the work blended the two dichotomies with a harmony".



Join us on stage at 7:45pm prior to the show for a interactive children's movement group led by professional dancers from Verb Ballets. Followed by the performance at 8:30pm. Guests are invited to bring blankets and/or a chair.


Lincoln Park, located at W. 14th and Starkweather in the heart of Tremont, is the perfect venue for this signature outdoor performance series.
