[NEohioPAL] Seeking young men for production of Seussical!

Beaumont high school seeking high school young men for its fall production of Seussical the Musical!

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 8 from 3:30 to 6:00 and Wednesday, September 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 in the SLC Theater.  Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on the following Thursday. We are looking to cast 18-20 young women and men.  For Beaumont’s production, the roles of The Cat in the Hat and JoJo will be played as female.  Auditions are open to students in all high school grade levels. All cast members must be able to sing (in harmony) and follow basic choreography. 

Prepare: 
Select a one minute reading from any Dr. Seus book to present at your audition. (Memorization not required)
Select 32 measures of music to sing from a musical (please avoid selections from Seussical, Rent, Les Miserables, or Phantom of the Opera)
Please provide sheet music, no acapella singing.

Production dates: 11/12/2015 through 11/14/2015
