>  Cassidy Theatre is currently accepting enrollment for Fall Classes.

>  Youth classes begin Saturday, September 19th. The last day of class,
> Saturday, November 21st will be a recital with a performance from each youth
> class. This is a free performance.

>  STARDUST!     YCF151      

>  Saturdays, 9:00am-9:45am
>                                                                

>  Here’s a super fun way for the youngest students to get their start in
> theatre! This non-stressful approach to basic acting, singing and movement
> will teach the littlest stars how to twinkle! This class will work on
> imagination, memorization and teamwork, as well as the technical basics of
> putting on a show.   Class open to students ages 4 – 7.

>  ACT-OUT!       YCF152

>  Saturdays, 9:00am-10:00am
>                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
> 
>  In this awesome acting class, students will be instructed in improvisation,
> character work, voice and movement and be introduced to basic acting
> techniques. Students will also learn some basic terminology pertaining to
> performance and working on stage. The class is designed to benefit students of
> all abilities and experience levels (basic reading skills are a HUGE plus).
> Get ready to get on your feet and ACT-OUT! Class is open to students age 8 –
> 12.

>  SHAKESPEARE SHAKE-UP!       YCF153

>  Saturdays, 10:15am-11:15 am
>                                                                                                                 

>  A little history, a little acting, a lot of fun – all the ingredients for a
> total Shakespeare Shake-Up! In this introduction to the life and works of the
> master himself, students will get a glimpse into the days of William
> Shakespeare and his influence on theatre today. They will interpret the text,
> act out the words, but most of all have a ton of fun in this non-intimidating,
> super imaginative awesome class! Class open to students ages 10 – 13.

>  ACT-UP!       YCF157

>  Saturdays, 11:30am-12:30pm
>                                                                                                                                        

>  In this awesome acting class, students will be instructed in improvisation,
> character work, voice and movement and be introduced to basic acting

>  OH-NO, AUDITIONS!     YCF154

>  Are you anxious when you hear the dreaded “A” word? Does the mere thought of
> going to an audition make your tummy hurt? You are not the only one! Students
> will learn how to get ready for and preform at auditions in this fun,
> relaxing, stress-free class. Cold readings, monologs, song choice – students
> will learn everything from what to prepare to what to bring to what to wear!
>   The most exciting part – the last class meeting will be a mock audition for
> a professional theatre director! Class open to students ages 12 – 19.

>  This active and exciting class will focus on the aspects of musical theatre –
> singing, acting, and dance. Students will take part in each of these areas, as

> to perform onstage. This class will benefit students of all ability and
> experience levels. Class open to students ages 7-12.

>  Saturdays, 12:40pm-1:40pm
