CVLT and Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra bring you a concert performance 
of the Rogers & Hammerstein classic, SOUTH PACIFIC. The story of romance 
between American nurse stationed on a South Pacific island during World 
War II and an expatriate French plantation owner yielded such classic 
songs as "Bali Ha'i", "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair", 
"Some Enchanted Evening", "There Is Nothing Like a Dame", "Happy Talk", 
"Younger Than Springtime" and "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy". This

The annual Halloween production of Ghosts, Goblins and Gobbledygook is 
returning to Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's Main Stage on Saturday and 
Sunday, Oct. 24 and 25! This show is intended for little ones ages 3-8.

Kids will watch as "Queenie" and the puppet "Mousie" will present a 
fairy tale, our Youth Theatre will present short Halloween 'playlets', 
there will be a "Skeleton Dance", and CVLT's own Edmond Wolff will play 
the guitar and sing Halloween songs.

Our usual villain "The Greedy Pumpkin" is back again to taunt the kids, 
but "Wanda, the Good Witch" will be there to save the day. As always, 
there will be a costume parade for kids on the stage (parents, bring 
your cameras!), Halloween treats for everyone, and prizes from the 
Pocket of "The Pocket Lady"!

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is pleased to serve once again as the home 
of the Chagrin Documentary Film Fest, now in its sixth year, featuring 
66 films from 28 countries.

The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival is dedicated to educating 
audiences and empowering talented filmmakers to tell their stories. The 
Festival is a five day celebration of the art of documentary film, at 
venues in and around the century village of Chagrin Falls Ohio.

This inspiring event draws audiences from all over Northeast Ohio, the 
US and the world to experience documentary films and the compelling art 
and culture they highlight.


    AUDITIONS for VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE
    A Comedy by Christopher Durang

Production Dates: Fridays and Saturdays - January 15 to February 6.
Rehearsals to begin first week of December 2015

Directed by Bob McCoy

Master of humor Christopher Durang presents the Chekov-esque story of a 
three middle-aged and single siblings, two of whom live together. When 
the third comes to visit, they discuss their lives and loves and the 
fate of the family home. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and the 
Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play, among other awards.

VANYA – 50s, living in Bucks Co. PA. Resigned to his life, more or less, 
at least compared to Sonia
SONIA – his adopted sister, early 50s, living with him in Bucks County. 
Discontent, upset, regretful
MASHA – his sister, 50s, glamorous and successful actress who goes 
gallivanting around the world
SPIKE – an aspiring actor 29 or younger, Masha's new companion. Sexy, 
self-absorbed, but otherwise outgoing and energetic.
NINA – lovely, sincere would-be actress, early 20s, visiting her aunt 
and uncle next door. Star struck, earnest and energetic
CASSANDRA – cleaning lady and soothsayer, any age, any race. In the 
original production, she was played by an African-American actress in 
her 20s.

All roles open. Come prepared to read from the script. Headshots and 
resumes welcome, but not required.
