VOICE LESSON EXCHANGE

If you would like to study singing but resist the high cost of voice lessons, consider studying voice free of charge with Coeli Ingold.  The acclaimed soprano, a graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve, offers free voice lessons to those who cantor the Sunday Masses at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bedford.  Noted for her “immaculate technique” (NJ Courier Post), Ms. Ingold served on the faculty of The Cleveland Music School Settlement for over a decade, where she taught private voice lessons to all ages and voice types, as well as directed the Madrigal Ensemble.  She has sung in operas, recitals and with orchestras throughout the Northeast Ohio area and surrounding states, and appeared in France and Switzerland. The cantor position at St. Mary's is a VOLUNTEER position in exchange for free voice lessons.  Inquirers need not be Catholic, however it is suggested that inquirers be comfortable singing in a sacred setting. This is ideal for Catholics who want to become more involved in music ministry, as well as any singing student who desires the opportunity to polish their technique and performance by singing frequently.
