BALDWIN WALLACE UNIVERSITY Presents
THE TWO NOBLE KINSMEN

By William Shakespeare & John Fletcher

Directed by Adam Heffernan

Based on Chaucer's "A Knight's Tale," this neglected masterpiece of the Jacobean stage matches the young theatrical powers of Fletcher with the last words Shakespeare ever wrote for the theatre. With a tale drawn from the relationship between Venus and Mars, Shakespeare returns to themes explored much earlier in his career to create a rich drama of obsessive love.

Cleveland Play House’s ‘Crucible’ a heavyweight contender Bob AbelmanCleveland Jewish News, The News Herald, The Morning JournalMember, International Association of Theatre Critics  In 1692, the farmer Giles Corey was accused of witchcraft along with his wife and other townspeople in Salem, Massachusetts.  After his arrest, Corey refused to plead guilty to save his life and refused to honor the proceedings by declaring his innocence. And so Corey was subjected to a public pressing, where a board was laid across his naked body and heavy stones were placed upon it to coerce a confession. In a remarkable final act of defiance, the elderly Corey cried out and demanded “more weight.” In the Cleveland Play House’s powerful and thoroughly engaging production of Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible” – a production occurring more than 60 years after it was last performed on a CPH stage – it’s as if director Laura Kepley shouted “more weight” to those under her charge in an effort to make this play not only relevant but extremely resonant.   For more of this review, go to www.clevelandjewishnews.com/columnists/.   Hello, All Arts Supporters . . . .

Hello,
I'm a local actor looking for a working actress to team up with, on a scene study I am doing. We would film the scene and possibly work together on other scenes in the future. I'm hoping to find an ongoing partner (or possibly 2) to work with on a regular basis. Please send me any details about your acting experience and head shots/samples of your work if possible. Please be at least 18 years old and let me know what side of town you are on and your preferences for where and how you would like to work.
