Introduction to Tai Chi - During this 4 part program you will be introduced
to the fundamentals of Tai Chi, QiGong, Meditation, Shaolin Healing Touch
and Acupressure. This training will fine tune and recharge your mental,
physical and spiritual health.



PHYSICAL BENEFITS: Improve posture, balance and flexibility, build strength
and endurance, correct digestive irregularities, increase bone density,
balance blood pressure, strengthen immune system, improvement of conditions
such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, reduce the risk of sports
injuries, decrease pain and inflammation and enhance sexual energy.



EMOTIONAL BENEFITS: Relieve tension and stress, release anxiety, create a
mind-body connection, feel better and younger, positive outlook on life,
enhanced focus and awareness, release energy blocks, gain a sense of
calmness and well-being and lessen mood swings.



Day 1. You will experience the warm up consisting of Shaolin Kung Fu and
QiGong exercises. QiGong means to work your Qi or vital energy. You will
also learn the beginnings of a new Yang Style short form created especially
for this workshop. Every session will conclude with a meditation.



Day 2. We will explore several stationary and moving meditation techniques
to help you connect with your inner self and the world around you. Regular
meditation has been shown to be extremely beneficial to the mind, body and
spirit. The concepts of medical QiGong will be introduced.



Day 3. Shaolin Healing Touch and acupressure techniques which give relief
to common afflictions such as headaches, digestive irregularities,
menstrual problems and back pain will be shared. Certain techniques can be
self-administered while others require a partner.



Day 4. All of the modalities previously covered will be linked and included
in a comprehensive class. The knowledge you gain during this 4 part series
will change your life forever.



About our Instructor: Sifu Edward Niam is a Master of Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai
Chi Chuan, Pa Kua Chang and Acupuncture and has been helping people utilize
the secrets of alternative health & wellness therapies for over 40 years.

Sifu Edward Niam is a Master of Shaolin Kung Fu and holds the rank of Black
Sash. He has been training people in all phases of personal protection for
over 40 years. He is a former law enforcement officer and Director of
Investigations for the Summit County Prosecutor's Office. Edward is a
graduate of the Special Weapons and Tactics Training (SWAT) held in London,
Ohio.
