[NEohioPAL] FREE 2 hour jitterbug workshop this Saturday, October 31st from 5-7 at the Slovenian Workmen's Home.

FREE two hour jitterbug dance class at the Slovenian Workmen's Home for any and all residents of Cleveland! 

Bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers! We make learning to swing dance fun. You do NOT need to bring a dance partner or have previous dance experience. All ages and abilities are welcome to attend. 

5-7pm at the Slovenian Workmen's Home,15335 Waterloo Rd.

Last Saturday of each month - Oct 31, Nov 28 & Dec 26. 

Attend one! Attend them all! In each class we will start from the beginning and cover the basic steps, how to lead and follow, a few simple moves and then some fancy schmancy moves.

What is swing dancing?? 
Swing dancing is a general term for all of the partnered dance forms that were created for jazz music from the 1920s through the 1950s, but are still popular today. These include; jitterbug, charleston, lindy, balboa, hand dancing and more. Usually when people speak of swing dancing they are referring to the easiest and most popular form of swing dancing which is known as the jitterbug or East Coast swing. Jitterbug will be taught in these lessons.

Why swing dancing?? Because it is fun, healthy & a great way to meet people! 

Every participant is given a free pass to join us at the 
Slovenian Workmen’s Home Swing dance that night. 
Pre-dance lesson from 8-9pm, 6 DJs play from 9pm-12am
