*announces open auditions for its 2016 Season.*

*Talespinner Children’s Theatre (TCT)* Executive Artistic Director Alison
Garrigan is proud to announce open auditions for its upcoming 2016 season.
TCT is Cleveland’s only professional children’s theatre, located on the
near west side in The Reinberger Auditorium in the Detroit Shoreway/Gordon
Square Arts District.  Now entering into its fifth season, TCT has been
garnering audience and critical praise by developing and producing highly
imaginative, original, collaborative and interactive professional works for
children that also stimulate creative growth in its artists. At any time,
these pieces have involved acting, dance, music, puppetry, tumbling,
drumming, and numerous other artistic disciplines as imagined by the
artistic teams working with and for TCT, and the company is open to all
creative possibility--reaching across socio-economic, cultural and
traditional boundaries to bring theatre to the community in its fullest
form providing excitement, growth and joy for all who are involved in
and/or touched by its work.

We are looking for talented, dedicated, imaginative, Cleveland-area theatre
artists, age 18 or older.  Must be willing to share your imagination with
others, connect with an audience, and to work collaboratively with an
artistic team.

India)--adapted by Anne McEvoy, directed by Melissa Crum*

June 4 – 26, 2016

(Rehearsals begin April 17, 2016)




*THE MUMMIES & THE MAGIC PRINCE (a Tale of Egyptian Mythology)--by Michael
Sepesy*

September 17—October 19, 2016

(Rehearsals begin August 3, 2016)



*HOOK & SMEE (a Tale of Never Never Land) --by T. Paul Lowry*

November 26 – December 18, 2016

(Rehearsals begin October 10, 2016)



All performing positions are paid.



*Audition information:*

*BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*

*When:*  Sunday, November 29, 2015, 4:30PM-10:30PM, and Monday, November
30, 2015, 5:30PM-10PM

*What:* You will be given a one-and-a-half hour block appointment.   Blocks
on Sunday will be 4:30PM-6PM, 6PM-7:30PM, 7:30PM-9PM, and 9PM-10:30PM.  Blocks
on Monday will be 5:30PM-7PM, 7PM-8:30PM, and 8:30PM-10PM.

Come dressed and prepared to move.  *You will be there for the full
hour-and-a-half.* No memorized material is necessary.  There will be story
work, and imaginative collaboration.

Bring headshot and resume.  *TCT is not offering AEA contracts at this time*

*Where:* Auditions will be held at Talespinner Children's Theatre,
Reinberger Auditorium, 5209 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102
