Audition Notice for Child Dancers in Verb Ballets' production of Peter Pan

Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:30pm at the Dance Institute at Guzzetta Hall

Verb Ballets is looking to cast up to 30 children to play a wide range of dancing and acting roles in the new ballet Peter Pan. Verb Ballets will premiere Peter Pan choreographed by Pamela Pribisco (former principal with Cleveland Ballet) presented by Children's Concert Society at The Akron Civic Theatre April 6-7, 2016. The audition will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2:30pm-4:30pm at the Dance Institute at Guzzetta Hall in The University of Akron.

The audition is open to children ages 5 and up. Casting will be determined based on height and size for costume fittings.  Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to the audition time. At the audition, students will learn a small excerpt of material and will be asked to dance. A parent or guardian must be present for students under 18 years of age to sign appropriate waiver forms.  Students participating will be required during the school day from April 5-7, 2016 for tech rehearsal and four performances.
