Lakewood Congregational Church, United Church of Christ seeking Children's Choir Director The Children’s Choir Director reports to the Music Director, Faith Formation Director and the Senior Pastor. The CCD is responsible to provide music opportunities for pre-school through 12th graders. Expectations include incorporating music into Faith Formation curriculum on Sunday mornings, leading the Next Generation band (mid & high school youth), preparing children for quarterly performances for the congregation, Christmas Pageant and Christmas Eve performances. Vocal and piano/keyboard experience required. Ability to transpose music and provide instrumentation AND motivation a plus! Schedule: 9:45 to noon on Sundays from September to May as well as holiday obligations. Compensation: $100 per Sunday. Additional opportunities as Chancel Choir member.
