Open Auditions for RUN TO THECAPULETS, RAISE UP THE MONTAGUES, adapted and directed by T. Paul Lowry,presented by Cuyahoga Community College. 

 

Looking for Tri-C students andlocal actors to be part of this modernized tech-driven reconstruction ofShakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.

Auditions are January 25 & 26from 6p – 9p. Callbacks are January 27 at 6p. They will be held at CuyahogaCommunity College - Eastern Campus, Main Stage, 4250 Richmond Rd., Highland Hills,OH 44122.

 

Please prepare a 1-minuteShakespearean monologue (preferably from R&J). You may also be asked toread scenes from the script. Come prepared to move. You can come anytime from6p – 9p, but you may be asked to stay for an extended time.

 

Rehearsals will begin in earlyFebruary, and will be weeknights and weekends, based on actor availability. Theshow open April 8, with six performances closing April17.

 

Some roles are PAID, most arevolunteer. Roles we are casting – Romeo, Juliet, Friar Lawrence, Lady Capulet,Duke, Tybalt and ensemble (playing various roles). Non-Traditional show =non-traditional casting.
