[NEohioPAL] Auditions for Family Friendly Sci-Fi Based Improv Troupe

Greetings!

We will be holding auditions on Monday January 25th at 7:30 PM for a family
friendly Short Form Comedy Improv troupe (along the lines of Whose Line is
it Anyway or ComedySportz). Auditions and rehearsals will be held at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Lakewood, 16400 Detroit Ave, Lakewood OH 44107.

This particular troupe will be launching at Cleveland Concoction.

To be an effective member of this troupe, these are the basics you need to
be familiar with:

Experience in improvisational acting and short form style games
Knowledge of Nerdcore/Sci-Fi/Gaming Fandoms (Star Wars, Star Trek, Dungeons
and Dragons, etc.)
Basics of costuming and cosplaying
Engaging an all-ages audience including young children

We will be rehearsing Monday evenings from 7-9pm starting February 1st.
There will be an additional dress rehearsal on March 7th and performances
will be on March 12th and 13th during the day.

As you consider this audition, please note the time commitment. Building an
improv troupe takes time and trust and if you have conflicts with these
dates, please provide them up front.

No preparation necessary...just dress to move and have fun. Headshots and
resumes are always welcome, but not required. Be prepared to nerd it up!
