Piano
Piano is a musical foundation, giving students the ability to analyze the music and understand what makes a song successful. Studies show that students who study music theory have greater concentration in school, coordination, patience, self-confidence and higher scores in reading and math.

  * Weekly private study with a professional piano instructor.
  * Music literature selected to match the level of the student.
  * Study of music theory, composition and ear training.
  * Audition preparation and creating a working portfolio of pieces as the student advances.
  * Lessons are $25 per half hour.
Guitar

Skilled guitar playing focuses on learning basic first position chords (C, A, G, E, D) and learning to utilize them efficiently. Studies, show that guitarists' brains have unique neural networks which can synchronize music slightly before playing. This neural rarity develops in the same area of the brain as intuitive thought, perception and discernment. Also, guitarists are cool!

  * Weekly private study with professional guitar instructor.
  * Music literature selected to match the level of the student.
  * Study of music theory, composition and ear training.
  * Lessons are $20 per half hour.
