TREETOWER STUDIOS - CASTING FOR SHORT FILM “HARRY”

Treetower Studios / Chris Langer is producing another short film in
Northeast, Ohio called “Harry”.  Our first project, “Neighborhood Watch”
went on to premiere at 2015 Ohio Independent Film Festival.  It is

SYNOPSIS - “Harry”, a short film, is about the daily life of a young
teenage boy who delivers newspapers. He struggles to live with his verbally
abusive drunk father, Jim who thinks it is time for Harry to pursue a real
career after high school.  His mother, Dorothy maintains the balance
between her husband and son.

AUDITIONS - All auditions must include a video audition.  All auditions
must use the sides from the Dropbox link below.  We will be reviewing the
video auditions and calling back selected individuals for the roles.
Callbacks will commence soon after auditions are over.  You will be
notified if you were selected for a callback.  You can submit to multiple
roles.  Please submit a resume, updated headshot(s), and a demo reel (if
you have it).  All levels of experience are welcome!

DEADLINE FOR ALL AUDITIONS: March 18th, 2016

CAST (All ages for casting are approximate)

HARRY - (Casting: Male, 18-20) looks 17 or 18 years old - he is about to
graduate high school and is unsure what to do with his future.  He delivers
newspapers for a job and doesn’t like to interact with his parents much.

DOROTHY - (Casting: Female, 35-50) looks like young 40s - she is a patient
wife and mother dealing with a troubled son and frustrated with her
alcoholic husband.

JIM - (Casting: Male, 40-55) looks like mid to late 40s - he is a factory
worker and an angry drunk.

JANE - (Casting: Female, 25-40) looks young 30s - a nosy neighbor who is
curious about what is happening inside Harry’s house.

MR. STEVENS (Casting: Male, 35-60) - neighbor that greets Harry during a
morning paper route.  Must be comfortable being shown in underwear and
morning robe.
