Looking to cast...
60 - 70 year-old Caucasian man: Mike DiMaggio is a charming and resourceful Italian American grandfather; high school graduate; retired Police lieutenant; freelance, licensed private investigator; actively participates in securing the safety and status of his neighborhood.

AEA agreements may be considered for this role.



About the play...
Denitra is determined to find a way for her teenage daughter to escape their impoverished inner city school and get the education she deserves. District jumping to the neighboring upper class suburb seems a risk worth taking until Denitra and her daughter fall under scrutiny. LINES IN THE DUST is a compelling new work that explores how community informs identity and the relationships between people on either side of the opportunity gap. Regional Premiere.


About the process...

Rehearsals will begin Monday, May 2nd, 6 rehearsals a week. Performances are June 2nd - 18th at 7pm; Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays in CPT's James Levin Theatre.

Monday, March 28th 7p - 9p

Auditions are by appointment only and will be conducted in 15 minute increments.

?  1-2 minute contemporary monologue
