IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO PARTICIPATE IN SATURDAY, APRIL 2ND, PERCUSSION
COMPETITION FOR AGES 8 - 16.   WALKS IN WELCOME

 

The first EN-RICH-MENT Percussion Competition sponsored by the Bluecoats
Drum & Bugle Corps will be held Saturday, April 2nd, 11 am at the Arts in
Stark Education Center, 1014 Cleveland Ave., NW, Canton. Age groups are 8 -
10; 11-13 and 14-16.  Registration is $10 and walk ins are welcome.  

 

In addition to an overall winner in each class, judges will select a winner
from each age group. Each winner will receive a trophy. In addition, the
overall winner from the marching percussion class will win $100, two tickets
to the Bluecoats' Innovations in Brass: Massillon competition at Paul Brown
Tiger Stadium and a day "behind the scenes" with the 2016 Bluecoats
Drumline. The overall winner from the free-style class will win $100, two
tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers game, and an evening "behind the scenes"
with Cavs QStix Entertainment Ensemble QStix.

 

Serving as judges for the competitions are Canton's own Elec Simon,
Cleveland Cavaliers QStix Manager Julian Goldthwaite, and Bluecoats alumnus
David Vielhaber
