Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck

This outstanding classic drama is a tremendously moving character study of
two roving farmhands, one of whom - "with the strength of a gorilla and the
mind of an untutored child" - unwittingly murders a woman, and is killed by
his friend to prevent his falling into the hands of the law.

(8) men, 20's to 70's

The Game's Afoot, or Holmes for the Holidays, by Ken Ludwig* (*pending
rights)

May 11 - June 4

Directed by Nancy Cates

When someone tries to murder an actor currently playing Sherlock Holmes, the
whole theatrical company assembles at his unusual estate to try to solve the
crime.

(3) men, 20's - 50's, (5) women, 20's - 70's

Alternate:

Moon Over Buffalo, by Ken Ludwig

An eccentric theatrical family tours the not-so-big-time with their
bedraggled versions of Private Lives and Cyrano de Bergerac.

(4) men, 20's to 50's, (4) women, 20's to 70's

Rehearsal Dates and Times:

Coach House's plays generally rehearse for five weeks prior to the opening
date, Sunday through Thursday evenings, from 7 to 10pm. Some flexibility is
available, but significant numbers of rehearsal conflicts may affect casting
options.
