MIX at CMA and Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland present MIX: Riff. Dance the night away to the swinging rhythms of acclaimed music ensemble Hot Club of Detroit. Seamlessly combining modern edge with classic European jazz of the 30s, Hot Club of Detroit creates a new form of Gypsy fire to keep the crowd grooving. The evening will also include tours and swing dancing lessons from Get Hep Swing.  Swing dance lesson at 7.  Swing dance performance including Lindy, Jitterbug, Charleston and Balboa at 7:30.

In the spirit of jazz, we’re riffing on the collections with tours improvised on the spot. Where will we go? Not even the guides know! Meet at the top of the east escalator.

Tickets are $8 in advance; $10 day of event; CMA members FREE. Cash bar. Food available for purchase. 

Join us on the first Friday evening of each month for an ever-changing mix of art, music, and mingling. MIX is an 18-and-over event.

University Circle Inc. will provide free shuttle bus rides between Uptown and MIX on the first Friday of the month from 4:30pm - 10:30pm. Shuttle bus pick-ups/drop offs will be at the following locations:

Happy Dog - free parking after 6pm in the Tavern Lot across the street

NE Corner of Euclid & E115th - parking available in the 115th Street Lot (75 cents per hour) and Uptown parking lot behind Constantinos/Corner Alley (4 hours free parking from 5pm - 2am)

NE Corner of Ford Rd & Hessler - parking available in the Ford Rd Garage (maximum $10), Uptown parking lot behind Constantino’s/Corner Alley (4 hours free parking from 5pm - 2am) and Triangle Surface Lot (behind ABC Tavern – maximum $10).
