*About the show*
For the second tale of our fifth season, we take audiences to a glittering
and storied India with The Crocodile, The Cobra and the Girl Down the Well
(A Tale of India), adapted by Anne McEvoy and directed by Melissa Crum.
Puppets and movement created by respected Cleveland performance scene
veteran and Cuyahoga County's Community Partnership for Arts and Culture
(CPAC) 2016 Creative Workforce Fellow Alison Garrigan.

Through the TCT ensemble process, professional cast members and creative
team work together to turn a locally produced script into a cohesive,
thoughtful experience for children and families that remembers that
children are smaller people, not lesser people.

Four of the five cast members are new to the TCT stage, providing a fresh
take on a successful formula. Rising star production director Melissa Crum,
a TCT performing veteran, takes the helm for this production in her first
appearance as a director with the company. Melissa is quickly becoming a
go-to director in the area, having recently helmed critically acclaimed
productions at Cleveland Public Theatre, and True North Cultural Arts,
among others. Currently she takes the lead on the 2016 Marilyn Bianchi
Kids' Playwrighting Festival at Dobama Theatre.
