South Euclid, OH - Disney's Beauty and the Beast, one of modern musical theatre's biggest hits, raises the curtain on Mercury Theatre Company's 2016 season, beginning June 10 in the Regina Hall at Notre Dame College.



Be enchanted all over again by the story of Belle and the Beast in this brand new Mercury Theatre Company production. Based on the classic 1991 Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast tells the story of an arrogant Prince who is cursed to spend the rest of his life as a frightening monster. To save himself he must gain the love of a beautiful young woman,  Belle, and soon learns that real change must come from inside.



A fantastically enjoyable adventure, this classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters and dazzling production numbers, including: "Be Our Guest" and the beloved title song.  Complete with Muppet-style puppets, onstage seating (available via lottery at each performance) and 30 top-notch actors, Artistic Director Pierre-Jacques Brault promises a unique theatrical experience the whole family will enjoy.
