Auditions
When: Monday, July 25th 6pm-9pm; Tuesday, July 26th 6-9pm

Where: Cleveland Public Theatre - James Levin Theatre (6415 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102)

Auditions are by appointment only and will be scheduled in 30 minute increments. Actors should prepare a 2 minute monologue in English. It is preferred that the monologue is memorized, but it is not necessary. (Please note: auditions will be stopped at 2 minutes.)

When scheduling your audition, please provide your preferred date, time and phone number. Interested actors should schedule an appointment by emailing TPC program coordinator, Faye Hargate (fhargate at cptonline.org<mailto:fhargate at cptonline.org>.)
Callbacks
All actors who are seriously considered for the play will be asked to attend callbacks.

When: Saturday, July 30th from 2pm-5pm. Callbacks will take the full 3 hours.

Where: Cleveland Public Theatre - James Levin Theatre (6415 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102)
Actors will be notified by Wednesday, July 27th if they are needed at callbacks.

About the Play
The Ghosts of Lote Bravo

Magical realism and the brutality of real life collide in this landmark premiere. Set in Mexico's Ciudad Juarez - where young girls often disappear - a mother reaches out to the terrify Santa Muerte for help in finding her missing daughter. Her appeal unravels the truth of the young woman's yearning, deceit, and unflinching courage in the face of poverty and violence. National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere.

Casting Breakdown
CPT has a history of multicultural casting and is committed to representing our community on stage. There are ethnically specific roles available for The Ghosts of Lote Bravo. There are 8 lead (speaking) roles available and 5 chorus (non-speaking) roles available.

About the Process
Rehearsals for this production will begin around Monday, August 8th, 2016.
Break will be from August 24th to September 10th.
Rehearsals resume September 12th.

Preview performance on Oct 13th.

Performances will be Oct 14th through 29th on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays at 7:30pm.

All actors will be paid.

El realismo mágico y la brutalidad de la vida real colisionan en este gran estreno. Situado en Ciudad Juárez de México - en donde a menudo las jóvenes desaparecen  - una madre llega a la aterradora Santa Muerte pidiendo ayuda para encontrar a su hija desaparecida. Los ensayos para esta producción empezarán el lunes, 8 de agosto del 2016.
No habrán ensayos del 24 de agosto al 10 de septiembre del 2016.

Los ensayos se reanudan el 12 de septiembre.

El preesteno público serán el 13 de octubre del 2016.
Las actuaciones serán del 14 al 29 de octubre -  jueves, viernes, sábados y lunes a las 7:30pm.

Los actores serán remunerados.
