Inlet Dance Theater returns to Cain Park July 27-28



Inlet Dance Theater returns to Cain Park's Evans amphitheater for two FREE performances on July 27 at 1pm and July 28 at 8pm. The dance company's aesthetic has been described as "narrative-driven choreography...filled with striking and compassionate imagery." Inlet utilizes the art form of dance to bring about personal development in the lives of individuals through training and mentoring, and to speak creatively about life and the issues we all face. The Kids Matinee and evening performances also include students from their Summer Dance Intensive 2016.



A Free Parking Shuttle Service is available only on the Thursday July 28 evening performance, in partnership with Motorcars Honda/Toyota/Scion<http://www.motorcarshonda.com/tcd/home/?tcdkwid=21983895&tcdcmpid=19525&tcdadid=7771818108&locale=en_US>. The shuttle runs 7-8pm (it does not run during the concert) and up to one hour after the concert ends. Those interested should park at the Motorcars dealership (2953 Mayfield Road).



The Stone Oven Bakery Café<http://www.stone-oven.com/about.shtml> offers a variety of picnic box dinners that can be ordered in advance of the event. Inlet Dance Theatre is one of the region's most exciting professional contemporary dance companies.  Founded in 2001 by Founder and Executive/Artistic Director Bill Wade, Inlet embodies his longstanding belief that dance viewing, training and performing experiences serve as tools to bring about personal growth and development. Inlet Dance Theatre's impact has grown locally to internationally.  The company's concerts, special events, Inflow and Outflow education programs began as local initiatives and now reach regional, national and international markets.  Inlet's diverse base of work includes concerts such as part of Cleveland Public Theatre's DanceWorks series and international exchanges to Easter Island (a commonwealth of Chile).  Inlet's education programming includes teaching dance in our home studio, attracting students from as far away as Central America to our Summer Dance Intensive, and conducting residencies throughout Ohio as part of the Ohio Arts Council's Artist in Residence Program.

Cain Park, a municipally owned and operated summer arts park, is one of the nation's oldest landmark outdoor theatres, and 2016 marks its 78th season. Cain Park is produced by the City of Cleveland Heights and is located on Superior Road between Lee and South Taylor roads.
