Auditions will be held at the Geauga Lyric Arts Center 106 Water St
Chardon, Oh (Across the street from theater)

Callbacks on Tuesday and Wednesday August 2 and 3 at 7:00PM (as needed and
by invitation only)

Auditions Information:

Auditions will consist of voice, movement and readings from the
script. Bring the sheet music of your song (one minute or less) to give to
the accompanist. Please do not sing a song from the show. No appointment
necessary.  Please be prepared to stay for a few hours. Please bring all
your conflicts between August 20 and November 6.

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals will begin August 21, five per week on weekday evenings and
weekends

Shows: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays October 21-November 6, 2016

Casting Information:

All roles are open

We are looking for a company of 15-25 energetic actors and singers.

Sweeney Todd (40s-60s):  bass/baritone F2-Gb4
Mrs. Lovett (30s-60s): alto/mezzo G3-E5
Johanna (20s): soprano C3-Bb5
Anthony Hope (20s-30s): tenor or high baritone Ab2-F#4
Beggar Woman (40s-60s): soprano/mezzo Ab3-F5
Judge Turpin (50s-60s): bass/baritone E2-F#4
Beadle Banford (40s-60s): tenor D3-D5
Pirelli (40s-50s): tenor B3-C5
Tobias Ragg (late teens-20s): tenor Bb3-A5
Ensemble (Men and Women, 20s-60s)—Many good smaller roles with good scenes
and a line here and there, both dialogue and singing.  The Ensemble may be
on stage for most of the play.

We need strong singer/actors to collaborate in creating an original
experience of a powerful play. This production requires some serious
singing and acting! And remember:  This is a HORROR STORY!
