Lighting and Projection Assistant

Cleveland Play House (LORT B, C, andD), America’s first regional theatre and recipient of the 2015 RegionalTheatre Tony Award, is accepting applications for a Lighting and ProjectionAssistant.  This position crosses overbetween LIGHTING and SOUND AND PROJECTIONS. The Lighting and Projection Assistant works with the Lighting Supervisorto maintain lighting equipment and paperwork as well as supervising three fulltime I.A.T.S.E electricians, overhire electricians and a Lighting Apprentice inthe hang, focus, notes and strike of the mainstage season, 2 MFA  shows and special events and works with theSound and Projections Supervisor installing and maintaining video equipment andprogramming and editing for any shows with video projections.  Qualified candidates should have 3-5 yearsprofessional experience, preferably in regional theatre.  Experience with VectorWorks, Lightwright,WatchOut and QLab essential.  Positionrequires a highly organized person with strong communication and supervisory skills.Positionis full time, seasonal with benefits and starts August 22, 2016 through April30, 2017 with a possible extension to May 14. Salary is hourly with time and a half after 40 hours.
