*Singers Companye is a semi-professional chamber choir based in Akron, OH.
  **Current members are music teachers and music professionals most of whom
have advanced degrees in music.  **Rehearsals:  Wednesday nights from
7-9:30 PM in Akron.  **This is an adult SATB choral ensemble*

*Skills required:  **1.  **Excellent vocal technique that is adaptable to
ensemble singing and issues of performance style;  **2.  **Strong
sight-reading skill;   **3.   **Challenging choral background and
experience working on demanding choral repertoire;  **4.   **A passion for
choral singing and the repertoire;  **5.  **Commitment to excellence;  **Two
solo pieces are required for the audition, one in English and one in
another language.*

*Accompanists are provided.  **Rehearsals begin on September 7, 2016
