Cleveland Method Acting (CMA), led by Emmy nominated TV and Film Director Eric Swinderman, is now accepting students for the upcoming 4 week program.
The classes are centered around The Sanford Meisner Technique, also known as THE METHOD.
Through the Meisner system, the actor becomes fearless and gains a strong confidence that can be applied to all areas of life. The four week class helps the young actor develop a love for the work, and with this, the ability to survive and work as an actor. Using a series of sensory memory exercises the actor will work on a single piece of work for 4 weeks learning how to look at the work from different angles and explore how the method can help the work evolve into a living breathing scene. This is what is commonly known as "method acting."
SPACE IS LIMITED SO REGISTER TODAY!
Classes will be held at 6602 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH - Gordon Square on September 12th, 19th, 26th and October 3rd at 7pm.
The recommended age for the classes is 18 and up (exceptions can be made on a case by case basis) You can find more information or register for the class by visiting the CMA website at http://clevelandmethodacting.homestead.com
