CASTING REQUIREMENTS

  *   A total of 30 to 35 males and females between ages 11 and 23
  *   The roles of Jacob and Pharaoh are open to males ages 11 to 23 and older; see Mentor Role notes below (under "audition requirements").
AUDITION DATES

  *   September 18 & 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  *   Callbacks, if necessary, September 20 at 6 p.m.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

  *   Please bring a photo and resume if you have them, and your conflicts for the rehearsal schedule.
  *   32 bars of a musical theater piece in the same musical style of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. You must have sheet music with piano accompaniment in the same key.
  *   You will be required to dance. Please bring dance shoes or tennis shoes.
  *   The age limit for roles in this production is 11 to 23.
  *   The roles of Jacob and/or Pharaoh are available as, but not limited to, Mentor Roles. A Mentor Role in the Emerging Artist Series brings actors with performance experience and theatrical training into the production as a role model for professionalism in theatre. If you are cast in a Mentor Role, it is expected that you will support the learning process of those new to the theatre, and that you will demonstrate exemplary theatrical etiquette both in rehearsal and during the run of the show.
