[NEohioPAL] Award Winning Dance Classes with Inlet Dance Theatre

*Come experience the Inlet way of moving!*

As an Artist in Residence, Inlet offers weekly dance classes at The Music
Settlement in University Circle. Inlet’s Class Offerings are taught by the
professional dancers of Inlet Dance Theatre.


*Teen/Adult Classes*

Monday- 5:30-7pm Modern

                7- 8:30pm Improvisation

Thursday  5:30-7pm Modern

                7- 8:30pm Nontraditional Partnering


*Children's Classes *

This program is designed to give children well-rounded and developmentally
appropriate training. Each class combines Modern Dance techniques with
creative problem solving instructions.

Saturday 11:30am-12:15pm  Level I 3-5yrs    In this level, children will be
guided through exploration of space, music, and movement of the body.
                12:30pm -1:15pm Level II 6-8 yrs   In this level, students
are introduced to Hawkins-based Release Technique. Students will learn
class protocol, the progression of exercises, and how to participate
                                                                  in
ensemble. Technique will focus on control, strength, flexibility, and
mind-body integration.
               1:30pm -2:15pm Level III 9-11yrs  In this level, students
are moved through the Hawkins-based Release Technique progressions.
Students will begin to develop core strength, an increased range of
                                                                 motion,
coordination, and a strong sense of ensemble. Performance improvisation
skills and nontraditional partnering may be introduced.
