North Pointe Ballet Announces Inaugural Season

Featuring The Nutcracker (December 9-11, 2016) and

Cinderella (May 5-7, 2017)


North Pointe Ballet (NPB) announces its 2016-2017 season with two feature shows, The Nutcracker, December 8 -11, 2016 and Cinderella, May 5 - 7, 2017. In addition to the two feature performances, NPB will host several community outreach events and offer educational opportunities, including a special student matinee on December 9th at 10:30am for school field trips, day care and home-school groups. This performance features shortened show length and special Q&A with the dancers. Tickets for Student matinee are on sale now.


The Season will kick off with The Nutcracker, December 9 - 11, 2016. The Saturday, December 10th matinee will feature radio personality "Java Joel" as "Mother Ginger." The entire running of the show will feature professional dancers from North Pointe Ballet and several students from the area, including Louisa Szczepaniak an exchange student dancer from Germany, who danced at Art & Dance in Loerrach, under the direction of Sylvia Künnecke.



Ninety minutes before performances of NPB's 'The Nutcracker" on Dec. 9 & 10, NPB will host the Sugar Plum Fair, a market event featuring local vendors and merchandise to browse and purchase for unique holiday shopping. Vendors interested in booked space should contact celeste at mashmade.com.

All of NPB's performances are held at the beautiful Hope Community Church Auditorium, 6941 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls, Ohio 44138.



TICKETS:



Purchase show tickets on the NPB website (http://www.northpointeballet.org/tickets.html).



Group tickets can be purchased by contacting the box office at npbboxoffice at gmail.com.

        Organized groups of 10 or more will receive a $3 discount per ticket.

        A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation.



Military and Senior discounts will be required to present ID at will call when picking up tickets.

        Seniors and military with proper ID will receive $2 off per ticket.
