Medina Show Biz Opening You Can’t Take It with You this Friday

Medina, OH – On October 14, 2016, Medina Show Biz is excited to open their
36th season with You Can’t Take It with You, a hilarious comedy by Moss
Hart and George S. Kaufman, and directed by Frank Lucas.

The play will run Oct 14-30, Fridays & Saturdays 7:30pm, and Sundays 2:00p,
at the Haddad Theater inside the Medina County Administration Building,
located at 144 N. Broadway, Medina, Ohio. Tickets are $12 for adults and
$10 for seniors and students 18 and under. Tickets are available at

The plot follows the wacky Sycamore family, headed up by patriarch Grandpa
Vanderhof (Charlie Richards). This family blissfully goes through life
doing whatever brings them joy. Some of their favorite hobbies include
ballet dancing, painting, building fireworks, writing plays, and collecting
snakes. Their happy existence is interrupted when young Alice Sycamore
(Natalina Kotori) becomes engaged to Kirby & Co. Vice President, Tony Kirby
(Andrew Knode). Alice does her best to whip her family into shape to meet
the new In-laws over a perfectly “normal” dinner, but disaster strikes when
the Kirby’s arrive a day early, to find the Vanderhof/Sycamore clan in all
their glory.
