With all due respect, Colleges and Universities should be in a separate category.

Community Theatres do not have the budgets or resources of a collegiate program.

Plus, the categories of scholastic and community theatre productions are not the same. The actor bases are completely different.

Please consider adding another category that is just college, university productions, which will actually give a chance for more nominations to take place in both categories.

Broadwaywayworld Cleveland non-professional theater awards

Nominations have now opened for the 2016 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards, honoring productions which opened between October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016.  Nominations are reader-submitted and will be open through October 31.

After the nomination period ends, BroadwayWorld's local editor will proof the list for eligibility and errors, then voting will begin in early November and run through December 31. Winners will be announced in January!

**PLEASE NOTE**

You may nominate one theatre, person or play in each of these categories. Please limit your nominations to a college, university, other educational theatre or a community theatres who do not pay all or some of their actors in a performance or provide a stipend (e.g, Baldwin Wallace University Musical Theatre Program, Chagrin Falls Little Theatre, Weathervane Theatre, Playmakers Youth Theatre).

Do NOT nominate any professional theatre or their productions or performers. (A professional theatre has an agreement with Equity, whose productions normally include one or more Equity members, and/or who pay all or some their actors in a performance or supply their actors with a stipend. e.g., Beck Center for the Arts, Blank Canvas Theatre, Mercury Theatre Company, Ensemble Theatre).

Please carefully and accurately fill in the nomination form below, making sure the production meets the eligibility requirements described above.
