[NEohioPAL] College Mentorship: Can YOU be the one to leave a positive impact?

Hey NEOhioPAL!   

Esperanza, Inc. needs your help! We are looking for 100 mentors in 100 days to leave a positive impact on our college students lives! We are also looking for 100 mentees! 

These mentors will be paired with college students, some of them first generation college attendees, for one year to help them transition into the college life. Mentors are asked to take 1 minute, 2-3 times a week to text, FaceTime, Skype, call, meet in person or email their students to find out how they are adjusting to college. They also should meet face-to-face twice in that year. Mentors and students are matched for one year from the start of the relationship. Matches will be made in mid-December with the kickoff event taking place January 5th. After one year students and mentors can decide to recommit to another year. Students and mentors create their own schedule of communication!  Our College Mentorship program just requires 30 minutes a month.  We want to place 100 students with 100 mentors by December 30th and need you to:
