[NEohioPAL] Veteran NY actor Lee Wilkof coming to the Cinematheque

On Monday, November 28 at 7:00 pm, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque will present the area premiere of the first film directed by longtime stage and screen actor Lee Wilkof, who was born in Canton in 1951.

Entitled NO PAY, NUDITY, Wilkof's movie is a comedy-drama that pays tribute to actors. The film stars Gabriel Byrne as an aging thespian who struggles with a stalled career and with family and old friends. Nathan Lane, Frances Conroy, and Donna  Murphy co-star. Wilkof will attend the 11/28 screening and discuss his film with the audience.

Wilkof has appeared in almost 100 movies and TV shows since the 1970s. He originated the part of Seymour in the original off-Broadway production of the musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and was nominated for a Tony for his role in the Broadway revival of KISS ME KATE.

Admission to NO PAY, NUDITY is $12; Cinematheque members, those with CIA or CSU I.D.'s, and those age 25 & under $9. Advance tickets are available at http://www.cia.edu/cinematheque/film-schedule/2016/11/no-pay-nudity. The movie will show in the Peter B. Lewis Theater of the Cleveland Institute of Art, 11610 Euclid Avenue.
