[NEohioPAL] Need Hoke for Driving Miss Daisy in Canton

Gilda Shedstecker Presents! is looking for an actor to recast in the role
of Hoke in Driving Miss Daisy. Performances are January 20, 21, 27, 28,
2017. This will be a short rehearsal period starting after Christmas, so
actor must be willing and able to learn lines independently and start
rehearsals for intensive blocking and development. Character is an African
American, portraying an age range from late 50s to mid 80s in this one-act
American classic about a stiff southern Jewish woman and her big-hearted
chauffer covering several decades beginning in 1948. Rehearsals and
performances will be at the Kathleen Howland Theatre at Avenue Arts
Marketplace & Theatre, 324 Cleveland Ave NW in Canton.

Gilda Shedstecker is known for parody and outré comedy; HOWEVER, this is a
straightforward production of Driving Miss Daisy. Interested actors please
