We are celebrating one year at Coffee Phix, we also just all joined the
cast of The Dinner Detective, and we will be on WKYC-TV at 6 p.m. tomorrow
(Wednesday). Hence, I had to get this out!

*The Cleveland Improv Comedy Jam's One Year Anniversary at Coffee Phix
Cafe in South Euclid*


*Angry Ladies of Improv *improvisational comedy troupe has been
hosting the *Cleveland
Improv Jam* for five years, and wants to celebrate one year of partnership
with Coffee Phix Cafe! The*Cleveland Improv Jam* moved to the East Side the
Sunday after Thanksgiving 2015, to Jackie Larkins'Coffee Phix coffee shop
at 4485 Mayfield Road, South Euclid. The assembly of improvisers, which
meets every Sunday at 5 p.m., actively fosters Cleveland's community of
improv and sketch actors and troupes.


*Angry Ladies of Improv* hosts this hilarious improv jam, open to those
with improv experience or anyone who has watched the jam for a while and
wants to play! 4:30 to sign up and play or 5:00 to watch! There is*NO COVER*,
and light food and drinks are available. Typically there is a short-form
set of improv games, and sometimes a longform improv set to end the night.
The jam wraps up by 6:00 p.m. The *Cleveland Improv Jam* is taking off
December 25th and January 1st, but otherwise is ready to make you laugh
every Sunday at 5 p.m.


The Columbus Unscripted Festival of Improv calls the ladies “super funny.”
 The Angry Ladies have hosted the*Cleveland Improv Jam* as it moved through
Lakewood locations of Bela Dubby, Sullivan's Pub and Mahall's,and
Cleveland's Guide to Kultur bookstore and Sachsenheim Hall, assisted by
Crooked River Improv, which produces high-quality improv comedy with some
of the best teams in the Cleveland region.


Jackie Larkins of Coffee Phix Cafe says, “Cleveland Improv Jam has been a
good partnership for us. I love to laugh and these dedicated performers

Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv *include: Brenna “MC” Connor, Marjorie
Preston and Katie White-Sonby. The troupe performs longform improvisational
comedy at the *Cleveland Improv Jam*. They have also performed at CPT's
Pandemonium, Big Dog Theater, the Columbus Unscripted Festival of Improv
and the Oberlin College Improv Conference. They are scheduled to perform on
WKYC-TV's evening news tomorrow. Members of *Angry Ladies of Improv* have
studied improv professionally in Chicago, Detroit, New York City and
Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland and Oberlin.


Katie White-Sonby is an actress who has performed at Clague Playhouse,
Karamu and Kennedy's Cabaret. Marjorie Preston is an alumna of Something
Dada and Rockwell 9 improvisational comedy troupes. Brenna “MC” Connor is
an actress and improviser. All three have recently joined The Dinner
Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show cast.
