[NEohioPAL] Fw: DP/Cinematographer/Camera Op Needed For Festival Bound Film

Greetings, my friends!


Cleveland native, now NYC based, actor and director/writer (who has recently been in development as star for a film by a Cannes selected director) seeking experienced and passionate collaborator in the form of a DP/Cinematographer/Op for a low budget micro-short dramatic film shooting just one or (at most) two days in December in an Eastside suburb.

Single interior location with just one actor and no dialogue but this film will both move people and cause them to reflect on life. Due to the emphasis being almost entirely visual, the look will be our greatest focus and so this job will require that you can bring with you both an excellent quality camera and accompanying equipment.

Stipend available but really looking for someone whose main motivation is to create together as great and powerful a piece of art of which we are capable to share with the world in these troubled days, being as much of a pure film fanatic as myself and getting the opportunity to express a wide range of techniques and skills (for example: capturing slow motion, close-up dust particles floating through the air via natural light coming through the window of an otherwise seemingly darkened room and seeing an approaching object reflected in the ECU of an eye's pupil) rather than just on making a few hundred bucks for the job.
